Marci McNair
1.Tell us a funny story about a date night out with your husband.
Improvement. I read a book as a child titled, Miss Know It All. The entire book was based upon a riddle, "What is the largest room in the world?" The answer is the room for improvement. This outlook motivates me to always look for improvements.
2.What are the (2) most important things in your kitchen and why?
Duck Dynasty. Anyone with a good idea, tenacity, and a hard working personality can strike it rich in a free society that values capitalism. Although "back woods," the show highlights the importance of living with good values and putting family (and marriage) first.
3.What do people assume about you that isn’t true?
I have a bad habit of wearing my makeup to bed. At bedtime, the last thing that I want to do is stand over the sink scrubbing my face when the pillow looks so inviting. My husband and I laugh when I tend to wake up with raccoon eyes.
4.Tell us a time you demonstrated leadership skills.
"Family is a treasure. It should be your greatest success story." My grandfather, Bruno DeGol, Senior, was wise and successful in business. Of all his accomplishments, his eyes shined the brightest when surrounded by family. This is my favorite quote of his.
5.If you had no fear, what would you try?
Thursday. Our local farmers' market opens on Thursday. My husband and I love buying local and most of the market vendors will do the cooking for you! Salmon, ribs, and oatmeal delight are our favorites to buy pre-made. At home, we love cooking farmers' market steaks.
